Esso Thailand Plc. has received an excellence award from the American Chamber of Commerce in recognition of its CSR efforts.
Ms. Kristie Kenney (right), U.S. Ambassador, recently presented a 2011 AMCHAM Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence Recognition Award to Mr. Z. John Atanas (middle), Chairman and Managing Director of Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited. The award presentation was at the 5th annual AMCHAM Corporate Social Responsibility Excellence Recognition Program (ACE) ceremony at the Conrad Hotel, Bangkok.
The ACE program was established to raise corporate social responsibility commitment, share best practices and provide recognition to AMCHAM member companies in Thailand who have strong commitment and dedication to community investment activities.

The Japanese government, under its grant assistance for grassroots human security projects scheme (GGP), is providing Bt1.88 million for waste-management centres and promoting waste recycling in Samokhae sub-district in the Muang district of Phitsanulok province.
