Highlighted as the successful cooperation of TMT and its dealer in upgrading showrooms to meet environmental-friendly standards, the outlet is completed under two main focuses - economy and ecology. It is the first showroom that meets the newly-launched Thai Green Building Cerfitication.

Vichien Emprasertsuk, senior vice president of TMT, said that this shows the company's commitment to the fully-integrated CSR across value chain. Through this, dealers can help TMT achieve the goal in cutting down energy consumption and taking a better care of the environment.

"The Eco Dealership Outlet" standard will uplift the service standards of showrooms and service centres. It's something that TMT wants to establish, to share happiness with communities, as TMT celebrates 50th year of operations in Thailand," he said.

Prior to this, all dealers were required to comply with the ISO 14001. "The Eco Dealership Outlet" concept will intensify the requirements, for lower energy consumption and lower carbon emission. Through better-designed work place, employees' satisfaction is rising and this result in higher efficiency, better products and services.

According to Vichien, six more outlets would be opened under this concept within this year.

And eventually, all 334 outlets nationwide would be steered towards the path, without having to build new buildings. He said that this is achievable if adjustment allows a cut in water and electricity consumption.
